Human Rights Training & Guidelines

The Human Rights domain measures each country’s global citizenship commitment across three major areas: (1) the extent to which countries have signed and ratified international human rights agreements, conventions, and treaties (ACTs); (2) the level of countries’ monitoring and reporting to the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights; and (3) the extent to which countries have implemented the principles outlined in the ACTs.

Environmental Stewardship Training & Guidelines

The Environmental Stewardship domain measures each country’s global citizenship commitment in three major areas: (1) the extent to which countries have signed and ratified international agreements, conventions, and treaties (ACTs) related to climate change and environmental protection; (2) the level of countries’ monitoring, reporting, and funding requirements of each convention; and (3) the extent to which countries have implemented the principles outlined in the ACTs.

Poverty Reduction Training & Guidelines

The Poverty Reduction domain measures each country’s global citizenship commitment in three major areas: (1) the extent to which countries have signed and ratified international agreements, conventions, and treaties related to poverty reduction and development; (2) the level of countries’ monitoring, reporting, and funding for international poverty reduction commitments; and (3) the extent to which countries have implemented the principles outlined in the ACTs.

Gender Equity Training & Guidelines

The Gender Equity domain measures each country’s global citizenship commitment across three major areas: (1) the extent to which countries have signed and ratified international agreements, conventions, and treaties (ACTs) related to gender equality; (2) the level of countries’ cooperation with the United Nations regarding conference attendance, reporting requirements, and voluntary funding contributions; and (3) the extent to which countries have implemented the principles outlines in the ACTs.
